Introducing the Guadalajara Geopolitics Institute and Podcast

“Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened.” – Winston Churchill

Welcome to the Guadalajara Geopolitics Institute (GGi) and Podcast.

What started as an experiment in the classroom (see Dissident Thinker) is now developing into a new project.

I had begun to contact retired government officials, experts and best-selling authors and invite them into the classroom via video Skype as a way to motivate high school and university students and expose them to critical and differing viewpoints. To my great delight, a number of high-profile experts agreed to join my classroom and talk to my students on topics within the field of International Relations.

Some of the guests have described the experience as ground-breaking in education.

My motivation is simply to delve deeper into history and geopolitics with my classroom and do so by using technology to connect with great minds. Our conversations are then able to reverberate online to thousands of curious listeners and viewers. Students from my classrooms (and others) have been profoundly impacted.

The next generation needs to be prepared to continue the fight for truth and the battle against corruption in society and government around the world. Educational institutions often limit the discourse on history and politics because of time constraints and textbooks which only tell one part of the story.

Our mission is to critically analyze global affairs with the assistance of experts from around the world and to examine the perilous truths of our time without subscribing to any particular ideology.

I thank my past, current and future students as they join me on this journey and I thank our past and future guests for being a part of this project.
